Open to international remote roles
Kareem Zein
.NET Engineer
Building enterprise applications, APIs and high-performance data systems.
// About
Built for systems that can't afford to go down
I'm a results-driven .NET Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade desktop and backend applications using C#, C++, ASP.NET Core Web API, and SQL Server.
My core strength is ERP system development — building new modules, optimizing legacy code, and engineering databases that stay fast and reliable under high transaction volume. I've led feature development on production ERP platforms, mentored junior engineers through code review, and tuned SQL Server performance at the query and index level.
Outside work, I founded and architected the Syrian Applications Store (Discontinued), a digital marketplace built on ASP.NET Core Web API — proof that I can take a system from idea to production on my own.

// Featured Project
File hash Generator and validator
A lightweight open-source desktop tool for generating and validating file hashes
Built to generate and validate file hashes locally and offline, the application supports multiple hashing algorithms and processes large files using chunked streaming with an 80 KB buffer — keeping memory usage controlled while maintaining a responsive UI. The application uses WPF-UI for a modern Windows 11-inspired interface and is distributed as a self-contained executable, requiring no pre-installed .NET Runtime.
GitHubSyrian Applications Store (Discontinued)
A digital marketplace built from the ground up
Founded to give users in Syria secure, reliable access to mobile applications, the platform's backend is architected entirely on ASP.NET Core Web API with RESTful design principles — covering everything from API design to deployment.
